Fix Auto UK acquires Fix Auto Cheltenham

Fix Auto UK has taken over as the majority shareholder in Fix Auto Cheltenham.

The network has bought the shares from businessman Andrew Emery, while fellow director Kieran Humphries will retain his shares and position as Operations Director.

This is the second repair centre established within the Fix Auto UK network that Fix Auto UK has invested in, having taken a majority share in Fix Auto Goole in August 2018, and adds to its nine wholly owned sites, Fix Auto Daventry, Fix Auto Colwyn Bay, Fix Auto Barnsley, Fix Auto Crawley, Fix Auto Paignton, Fix Auto Liverpool South, Fix Auto Castleford, Fix Auto Newport and Fix Auto Henley-on-Thames.

Ian Pugh, Managing Director for Fix Auto UK, said: “Andrew approached us several months ago with a proposition to buy his shares in order to continue to maintain the growth and development of the business and we are delighted to be in a position to do so. Having Kieran, who is so passionate about the industry and the business, on board is a major boost.”

Andrew said: “I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my time and extremely proud of our achievements. Taking the business to where it is today has been a privilege but, in truth, I have other business interests to concentrate on. The repair centre is in an extremely good place and now is the time to step back. With Kieran at the helm and with Fix Auto UK in support, the business could not be in better hands going forward.”
