Gemini Accident Repairs has expanded its presence in the North East by opening a new-build site in Darlington.
The 10,000 sqft facility is the group’s 37th facility and represents the group’s expansion into a new region.
The new site features optimal heat loss reduction through the Kingspan cladding system and with a large focus on sustainability, it also includes future-proof technology such as a Todd Zeus infra-red electric oven, full LED lighting, destratification heating to reclaim ambient heat, and energy-efficient compressors.
Brett Wootton, Acquisitions Manager for Gemini Accident Repairs, said, “Darlington is a fantastic addition to the Gemini family. Its excellent transport infrastructure allows us to serve the North East, a new area for our strategy. The new build also enables us to future-proof our green footprint with the latest technology.”
Dave Sargeant, Managing Director of Gemini, added, “I am thrilled to welcome our 37th site. This expansion greatly strengthens our presence in the North and Northeast of England, marking our entry into a new territory for Gemini. With this move, we can provide even better support to our insurer partners. We are proud to welcome a dedicated team of skilled professionals, including our new Darlington Production Manager, Joshua Rudrum, who shares our commitment to delivering industry leading support and top-quality repairs to our clients and customers.”
