This National Walking Month, Ben, the automotive industry charity, is calling on everyone in the automotive community to lace up their walking shoes and step up for two major walking events – the Thames Bridges Trek and the Kiltwalk.
Both events offer a unique opportunity to get active, connect with the community, and raise vital funds for those in the industry facing life’s toughest challenges.
Join the Thames Bridges Trek – 13 September 2025
Join a 25km journey across 16 of London’s iconic bridges, with 2,500 participants uniting for a memorable day of camaraderie, incredible views, and community spirit. Be a hero in a kilt – multiple dates across Scotland
Take on the legendary Kiltwalk, a Scottish tradition that offers 4-mile, 11-mile, or 20-mile routes across breathtaking locations. Participants can choose to walk in Aberdeen on 1 June, Dundee on 17 June, or Edinburgh on 14 September. Every step helps Ben provide life-changing support to those in the automotive industry. With 35% of people in the automotive industry lacking regular physical activity, these events serve as the perfect opportunity to boost wellbeing while supporting a critical cause.
Matt Wigginton, Ben’s Director of Partnerships, Engagement, and Income, said, “Every step you take and every pound you raise enables us to support those who are struggling or in crisis. By lacing up and stepping out for Ben, you’re helping us change and save lives.
Whether walking with friends, family, or colleagues, participants will raise essential funds to help Ben provide free, confidential support services to those in need.
