Ezi Methods recognised the hard work and achievements of Gemini Taunton apprentice Cahal Robertson at the company’s third annual awards held at the Manufacturing Technology Centre near Coventry.
Cahal was awarded with the Mike Watts Apprentice of the Year award after recording more merits than any other apprentices and a distinction in his Multi Skilled Technician apprenticeship.
Ben Cardy, co-founder and Commercial Director for Ezi Methods, said, “We have long held a close working relationship with Gemini, watching how the business has developed its own apprenticeship programme has been a privilege and must be admired by our industry. The business is clearly reaping the benefits with its continual production line of new talented individuals who are the future of the business, repairers who will always need official Repair Methods.
“While every successful apprentice thoroughly deserves to be recognised, Cahal clearly showed his true passion for the industry. I am delighted we are able to help continue his journey with our small gesture.”
Dave Sargeant, Managing Director for Gemini, added, “This is our third apprenticeship awards event, and what a celebration it was. The event celebrated our apprentices and the best newcomers to the accident repair industry. For the past six years, we have worked with over 100 apprentices to develop them, provide skills, and provide people with careers as well as the opportunity to further advance their skills with Gemini.
“A huge congratulations to all winners and to Cahal Robertson for achieving his full apprenticeship with such high classification.”
