Copart raised £5,000 for Ben Automotive Charity following its 3 Peaks Challenge which saw Team Copart scale the three highest peaks in Scotland, England, and Wales: Ben Nevis (1,345m), Scafell Pike (978m) and Snowdon (1,085m).
Copart adopted Ben as its company charity in 2015 as part of its Do It 4 Ben campaign.
Ben provides a fantastic range of free and confidential health and wellbeing services to people working, or who have previously worked, in the automotive industry.
Jane Pocock, MD of Copart UK & Ireland, said: “I’m delighted that Copart was able to give something back to Ben, whose health and wellbeing services to our business and the wider automotive industry have been invaluable, especially during the challenges of the pandemic.
“Not only has this event been an incredible and unforgettable experience for our teammates who took part, but it also demonstrates the strength of our commitment to caring about good causes like Ben as part of our ongoing Copart Cares campaign.”
Matt Wiggington, Director of Partnerships, Engagement & Income at Ben, added: “Copart Cares…it really does…and with every event you complete and every donation you make, you’re changing and, in some cases, saving lives of people in our automotive family. We couldn’t do what we do without you all.”
