BASF’s premium paint brand Glasurit has celebrated the 40th anniversary of its partnership with Ashford-based Summers Accident Repair Centre.
To mark the occasion, BASF colleagues visited Summers to explore the site and discuss the production of other BASF products, including nematodes.
Further, Glasurit UK, supported by STEM Ambassador lead Natalie Wong, will volunteer 40 hours to one of Summer’s chosen local primary schools.
Chris Titmarsh, Senior Vice President, BASF Automotive Refinish Coatings Solutions EMEA, said, “Summers ARC’s loyalty to the Glasurit brand is a testament to the success of our product’s performance and the exceptional service our UK team delivers. Our innovative product portfolio stands for the highest eco-efficiency, helping our customers grow and become more competitive whilst reducing their environmental impact. We’re delighted Summers ARC are on this journey with us.”
Ian Summers, Director of Summers, added, “For us at Summers ARC, it’s a simple choice to use Glasurit – and that shows with us having a long-standing account with the brand for over 40 years. The continued support and help from the UK Glasurit team alongside great products fit perfectly with the core of our business to be the best as we can.”
