IMI seeks industry input in NOS reviews

The Institute of the Motor Industry (IMI) is inviting industry input in a series of National Occupational Standards (NOS) reviews.

The IMI announced in the summer that is reviewing the following standards: Maintenance and Repair – Light Vehicle; Mechanical Electrical and Trim (MET); and Core Automotive – Health & safety.

Phase One of the reviews included making the NOS documents available to view and offer feedback on.

It will now collate and assess the feedback before consulting the industry around potential next steps. Consultations will be mainly electronic, in the form of online surveys and video/telephone conference meetings with CPD certificates issued to those who take part.
