A range of sponsorship packages are available for anyone wishing to support the Plunky’s All Stars charity football match, which takes place against FLK Mercenaries at Peterborough United’s ground on 1 June.
This year’s match is being held in support of Tapping House, a Norfolk-based hospice that provides care and support to those living with or affected by life-limiting illness.
Sponsor packages include Diamond Partners (£1,000-£2,000), Platinum Partners (£500-£900), Gold Partners (£300-£500), Silver Partners (£200-£300), Bronze Partners (£100-£200), and Affiliated Partners (£50-£100), while organiser Steve Plunkett is also looking for raffle and auction prizes.
This is the ninth year Steve has organised the charity football match, raising upwards of £63,000 to date for a range of charities. Last year £17,500 was raised for Brain Tumour Research and this year the fundraising target has been set at £20,000.
Meanwhile, the game will be held in memory of Mike Yorke, who played in every charity match apart from one. Mike passed away last December after a long battle with a brain tumour.
