Prasco UK reaffirms commitment to stable pricing amid rising business costs

Prasco UK is assuring its valued customers it has no plans to increase prices across its range of replacement parts despite the rises to business costs that come into effect from 1 April 2025.

With the increase in the National Minimum Wage and National Insurance Contributions set to come into force next month, many businesses are facing rising operations expenses. However, the Doncaster-based replacement parts provider remains steadfast in its commitment to ensure its prices are affordable and as competitive as ever.

“We fully understand the financial pressures repairers are experiencing and the issues surrounding the uncertainty they face when the latest increases come into effect,” said Kelvyn Waugh, Prasco UK’s Managing Director. “Despite the cost increases brought on by the Minimum Wage and NI increases, we want to reassure our customers that, at present, we have no plans to pass on these additional costs onto them.”

Prasco UK has taken proactive measures to absorb these increases through improving its operational efficiencies, strategic planning and working “tirelessly” with its own suppliers. By optimising its supply chain and revaluating its own operational procedures, Kelvyn believes it can maintain its highly competitive pricing while maintaining its industry-leading level of service.

Kelvyn explained, “We have worked tirelessly with our own suppliers since the Government announced last October that it was bringing in the increases to ensure we have the best competitive prices for our parts feasible and now that means no immediate increases. Obviously, I have no crystal ball so I cannot predict what the future holds but, at present, I am determined to maintain our current position of offering the best prices possible.”

Prasco UK currently holds more than 30,000 different product numbers encompassing replacement parts for every major car marque on UK roads including MG, BYD and Tesla.
